The machining phases that follow piece casting are no less important. Cutting, finishing and lapping are only the beginning of a procedure that ends with the piece having its true functional characteristics defined.

           These first machining phases are completely automatic. The pieces that leave the casting department are conveyed along belts to a room where an articulated system of robots controls the entire operation of lapping and cleaning of the pieces.

            This concludes the first phase. The piece is then ready for the next machining phases.
