The first phase of the production process is the actual casting which includes creating the moulds and defining piece modelling that needs to
be studied to render the casting process ergonomic.
And this requires a great deal of experience.
All the expedients needed to ensure that the distribution of the alloy
is completely homogeneous in the cast piece are difficult to describe,
being part of Fonderia l'Artigiana's know-how and expertise of many years' experience.
Each mould can model one or more pieces simultaneously depending
on size.
Cutting then separates the piece from the connecting elements.
The systems used in this production plant are kept updated and are
truly the very best that modern technology has to offer.
To see that casting is perfect it undergoes mechanical resistance
tests, checked by X-rays and all the process variables are monitored continuously.
